We’re delighted to share some fantastic news about the next phase of the IEP’s growth in Australia.
Building on the good work already being done, we’ve secured three highly respected leaders from within the employability sector to take forward key priorities across operations, strategy, and Fellowship.
Karen is joining us shortly to provide operational leadership and support for growth. With more than two decades in management – including over 15 years in the employment services industry – her passion has centred on supporting clients and the dedicated staff who serve them. She is committed to helping staff grow and advance in their careers while promoting the industry as a strong, desirable career choice. Karin will play a central role in shaping our future activities.
Tony Waters FIEP
Tony is joining the team to work alongside Global CEO Scott Parkin FIEP and the IEP Australia Board to help define and develop the IEP Australia Strategy for the next three years. Tony is a vastly experienced employability services professional, providing decades of service to the industry in Australia.
Cath brings a wealth of experience from innovative social programs and enterprises in Australia and the UK. She will be supporting the IEP by advising on high-level relationship management and policy. Over the next couple of months, Cath will focus on establishing a new Fellowship Committee and developing the structure for our ‘Fellows Regional Chapters’in Australia.
This work will ensure that Fellows across the country are better connected, able to access meaningful professional support, and engaged to share the vision and mission of the IEP in Australia as the home for our sector’s professionals.
It is a big step forward for our organisation in Australia to have three industry leaders taking on these roles.
