Every profession has a qualification that defines professional practice. Employment services does too.

The IEP’s CHC41115 Certificate IV in Employment Services, developed in partnership with Asuria, is the nationally recognised qualification built specifically for the work our sector does every day, supporting people, building relationships, navigating barriers, working with employers, and helping people move towards sustainable employment.

To find out more, IEP Australia is running a free information webinar, hosted by Ellie Fuller MIEP (IEP Australia Partnership and Learning Consultant) and Heather Gasper (Asuria RTO Operations Manager). It’s a short, practical session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, no obligation, just the information you need to decide if the Cert IV is right for you or your team.

Built By the Sector, For the Sector

The Cert IV was developed by IEP Australia and Asuria following an extensive, year-long consultation with frontline staff, mentors, employment consultants, team leaders and program leaders. Every unit, elective and learning activity reflects the realities of working across Workforce Australia, Inclusive Employment Australia, Transition to Work, Parent Pathways and more.

With increasing demand for frontline staff to hold, or be working towards, a relevant industry qualification, there has genuinely never been a better time to find out more.

Skills You Can Apply Immediately to Your Work

Ujjwal Dhakal AIEP, a Job Coach at Asuria in Glenorchy, Tasmania, says the course gave him skills he could apply immediately:

“I have noticed that I am able to do my daily tasks in a more professional way, providing more structural support, which has led to improved engagement and confidence in the people I work with.”

Thomas Guthridge AIEP, an Employment Consultant working within the Workforce Australia contract, was among the very first students to complete the qualification. With nearly three years in the sector, he describes the impact as significant:

“It strengthened my ability to connect and engage with diverse cohorts, as well as navigate challenging conversations while always keeping participants’ best interests at the forefront.”
