The IEP Connect series continued its momentum this week with a wonderful evening in Sydney, bringing together IEP Fellows, members, partners, and employability professionals for relaxed networking and conversation.

Part of the IEP Connect Australia initiative, the Sydney event provided a welcoming space for people across the employability sector to share insights, strengthen relationships, and forge new connections, all in an informal setting over drinks.

The evening drew a diverse mix of attendees, from experienced practitioners to those newer to the sector, reflecting the broad community IEP Australia continues to build across the country.

IEP Australia Country Manager Karin Ridgeway FIEP said the Sydney gathering captured exactly what IEP Connect is all about.

“It was a wonderful evening, a real opportunity for fellows, partners, members and colleagues from across the industry to come together in a relaxed and genuine way,” Karin said.

“What struck me was the diversity of the room and the quality of the conversations happening. People found real common ground and left with meaningful new connections. Thank you to everyone who joined us.”

Sydney is the latest stop in a series of IEP Connect gatherings held across Australia in 2026, following events in Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne earlier in the year, with more cities on the horizon.
