We’re proud to recognise Tamika Biddlecombe FIEP as April’s IEP Australia Member of the Month.
Tamika is a consistent and highly valued contributor to the IEP community, regularly engaging in both online and in-person events. A passionate advocate for the IEP, Tamika brings energy, insight and generosity to every interaction.
Through her role as Executive Director at the Pathways and Advocacy Network, Tamika has led important work focused on how young people navigate transitions between school, training and employment. Over the past 12 months, she has shared thoughtful reflections and research-informed perspectives that are helping shape more effective, connected approaches to program design.
Tamika’s commitment to collaboration and knowledge-sharing extends beyond borders. She has co-presented internationally, contributing to cross-country dialogue between Australia and the UK, and recently contributed her voice to the IEP Centre of Employability Excellence seminar, bringing valuable insight into youth transitions and system design.
Tamika said she has genuinely valued being part of the IEP community.
“The resources available through the Centre for Employability Excellence, along with the knowledge and generosity of fellow members, have played an important role in shaping our thinking at Pathways and Advocacy Network,” she said.
“As we develop the Youth Pathways Guarantee for the Australian context, we have drawn on evidence, international examples and professional connections that have come through the IEP. It is a reminder of the value of sharing ideas across organisations and countries to improve outcomes for young people.”
Thank you, Tamika, for your ongoing advocacy, leadership and commitment to strengthening employability practice.
